It is mandatory for toy manufacturers in the United States to follow strict toy safety standards for their production lines. The ASTM F963 is considered the highest standard in promoting toy safety and is emulated across the globe.

ASTM INTERNATIONAL

ASTM International is recognized around the world as a leader in the development and implementation of standards associated with voluntary consensus. To date, there are more 12,000 ASTM standards that are put in place across the globe.

CONSUMER PRODUCT SAFETY COMMISSION

This is the U.S. government agency that has been tasked to protect the public from unreasonable injury risks or fatalities associated with the use of consumer products under the jurisdiction of the agency.

This program organized by the Toy Association is designed to deliver a detailed overview to participants about the main state, federal, and international safety requirements that have an impact on the toy industry.
