Wizards sealed themselves to their keeps and towers during the fall because they became a huge target with their shelter, magical abilities and legendary battle tactics that only a select few know. No one has crumbled their towers just yet and the only way to get in their magically sealed domains is a special key.
The Violet Vale was open to all before the fall and people from all walks of battle could come in, learn the ways of magic and be on their way. Now, this place has become a battlefield that rages on.
