The fire station is well equipped with equipment and vehicles to fight fires anywhere they go. There is even helicopters that are specialized for fighting fires in the forest if they ever happen in remote places away from civilization. There may be special equipment that will fight the fires well, but this is only true if it is being used by a well-trained firefighter with the skills and knowledge to save lives, one fire at a time.
Firefighters have to go to school on many different subjects, pass and rehearse what they have learned so that they know what to do when lives are at risk. Hours of training per week can be the difference between a life saved or not. Not only do these men and women firefighters have to know a lot of things about different equipment, but sometimes they must stay up late at night to ensure they are ready for any emergency, at any time 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
The helicopter is an amazing machine that is taught to only the most elite firefighters and is a blast to not only fly but to ride in. These machines are amazing at getting to the emergency as quickly as possible because they have no hindrance on where they can go in the sky!
